P2 Part Day Culloden Tour - Two HoursInverness Tours visit the Well of the Dead on Culloden Battlefield

A luxurious short tour collecting you from the airport, station or hotel and taking you to the site of the the last battle fought on British soil.

Here you have a choice of visiting the National Trust exhibition or our guide will give you a fascinating guided walk around the battlefield.

We will also explain the politics which led up to the battle. This all stems from James IV marrying Margaret Tudor, Henry VIII of England's sister. James' great grandson became king of England owing to this marriage. He is known as James VI & I, the VI coming first because Scotland is a far older kingdom than our neighbours in the south. We will make the events so understandable and exciting to discover too. A real historic experience.

If you would like to build in some shopping at Pringles Woollen Mill you will need to extend the tour.

Contact us and we'll help you plan your visit properly and give an exact quote for any extension to the tour.

Price: £90 for up to six passengers.
